Treasuring our land is not a new, politically correct endeavor
Our founder, Bill Brodock and the generations since have shared a great kinship with
nature’s unspoiled beauty. The Brodock’s stewardship of the land began more than 40
years ago with the purchase of 586 acres of Adirondack forest, lakes and streams.
These forests have been actively managed, producing sustainable pulp for some of the very papers we use for print production. The lakes, such as Tamarac shown above, have been
routinely tested and maintained since the 1970’s by Cornell University.
This commitment continues today, in ongoing efforts to keep our corner of the world
pristine, in promoting eco-friendly practices with our business partners and in extending
an invitation to our clients to appreciate what nature has to offer with a visit to our retreat.
