Meet Our Team!
After receiving a business degree from Ithaca College in 1972, I started working at Brodock Press, wrapping and packaging, learning the business from the ground up. Now after 22 years in sales, and 20 years as CEO I am proud to be working with my wife Barbara along with sons Bryan and Brandon in a quest for a successful third generation.
I greatly enjoy the long-lasting relationships we've made with so many clients. I'm a firm believer that our success is largely due to our employees, "Can Do" attitude.
With my four children and six grandchildren I'm always busy enjoying family activities. I love being outdoors, hunting, riding, skiing or just watching the seasons change.
After majoring in Psychology at Mohawk Valley Community College, Barbara began her professional career in the Insurance Industry, earning positions in underwriting, sales and marketing. Always looking for a challenge, and possessing a strong work ethic, Barbara transitioned into the print arena. After completing the RIT-Graphic Art Program, she moved into senior management, where she holds the position of Senior Vice President overseeing the administration, financial, and management of the company. Barbara lives the philosophy of "Tough but Fair", emphasizing the "fair" component at every level, striving to identify loyal employees. Brodock posses many seasoned and loyal employees, which she believes is the core to the success of a 56 year old company. Family is what drives Barbara. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, skeet shooting, snowmobiling and biking with her husband Craig. Barbara has a blended family with her husband and together they have four children and six beautiful grandchildren.
VP of Operations
Bryan is a graduate of Syracuse University and has been working at Brodock Press for 15 years. His favorite part about working at Brodock, is that he values being a strong link in a chain of many. His teamwork philosophy ultimately ends with happy customers. In Bryan's free time, he enjoys watching sports and spending time with his wife Lindsay and their sons Chase and Cristian.
VP of Sales/Senior Account Executive
Dave is an alumni of Syracuse University with a degree in Business Administration. He has been working in the printing industry for 28 years. His favorite thing about working at Brodock is the people, and their “can-do” attitude. Faced with any situation the team responds with the customers needs in mind. Dave, among the rest of the employees agree on the common goal to surpass the clients’ expectations. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife Kimberly and their children Nicole and Davis. Dave is an avid runner, and enjoys watching his son play hockey.
Senior Account Executive/ Director of Sustainanability
Brandon earned his Environmental Science degree from Colorado State University before working in the printing industry for eight years. He has put his degree into use for Brodock’s Sustainability Initiatives, reducing the company's carbon footprint. Brandon’s favorite part about working at Brodock is the traditions and the people he has known since he was young. Furthermore, he appreciates the act of working with the clients to achieve their goals. When Brandon is not at work, he can be found golfing, skiing, fishing, camping, playing hockey, and spending time with his wife Lauren and their son Jack.
Senior Account Executive
Mike graduated from Niagara University with a degree in marketing. Upon graduation, he spent 23 years with Oneida LTD. Silversmiths in their Advertising and Sales Promotion department. He also has a combined 11 years of experience working with Sherrill Manufacturing and WYNIT Distribution. Mike’s favorite thing about working at Brodock are his colleagues. He enjoys being able to present the Brodock name, quality, and reputation to new customers. Mike and his wife Holly have been happily married for 32 years, and have two children Sarah, and Drew, and two dogs Sophie, and Murray. In his spare time Mike loves to travel with his family, play golf, and volleyball.
VP of Plant Operation
After attending RIT, Jim was hired by our founder Bill Brodock in 1976. Jim has been instrumental to Brodock’s success over the last 40 years. Beginning as a pressman, Jim has worked his way through the ranks. He has held positions of Plant Manager, Pressroom Foreman, and is now VP of Operations. Jim’s favorite aspect of the industry is that every day brings a new experience, and that each day is different from the last. In his spare time, Jim enjoys camping, golfing, and fishing. He is happily married with two children and three grandchildren.
Starting as a single color pressman at Brodock many years ago, Conrad worked his way through the ranks to became pressroom foreman. Operating various presses and machinery, he was able to refine his craft, continually learn the latest technology. In 2000, Conrad expanded his career into sales and became a supplier to the industry. Returning to Brodock in 2015, Conrad is contributing to the future success and growth of the company. He enjoys utilizing the latest technology and working with the strongest team in the industry. Whenever possible, Conrad enjoys family RV trips, golfing, curling, and considers himself to be a fair weather runner.
Ed began his career at Vicks Lithograph and Printing, developing skills with all bindery equipment. For the past 25 years at Brodock, Ed has refined his expertise to become Bindery Manager, where he oversees the critical finishing components that we produce. Ed’s favorite aspects of working at Brodock is the challenging design work, learning new equipment, and exceeding customer expectations. Ed enjoys hunting, camping, cooking, and spending time with his family.
Ted has 35 years of experience in the Graphic Arts industry. Ted's primary focus and expertise in color retouching and scanning makes him an invaluable collaborator to reproducing customers photography. With two years of additional training through the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation, Sheetfed, and Web Offset Press Operation He further solidified mastery of prepress.Ted’s favorite aspect is the challenge of achieving the quality that Brodock aims for in creating one of a kind products and the color awareness at all stages. Outside of work, Ted spends his time with his wife, his four children, and their three grandchildren. He enjoys a variety of activities from ice hockey to baseball.
Mary H. Cornmire
Preflight/Digital Account Manager
After receiving her A.A.S. from MVCC in Advertising, Design and Production, Mary attended SUNY Fredonia and earned her B.A. in Graphic Design. Upon graduating, Mary worked as freelance designer for nine years before beginning her 14-year career with Brodock. Mary’s favorite thing about working at Brodock is the people as well as the wide variety of projects she sees on a daily basis. Mary has been married for 30 years with three children and she has a granddaughter. She enjoys painting, crafts, motorcycle rides, and spending time with family.
Laura has a combined 26 years of experience in the printing industry, and has has a great reputation of providing solutions to customers. Her favorite thing about working at Brodock is the customers and the final printed materials that she is proud to produce. In her free time, Laura spends her time with husband Mike, son Sean, and daughter Kara. Her favorite pastime is watching her children grow up.
Nancy has a combined 32 years of experience in the printing industry. At Brodock, she thoroughly enjoys working with the same clients year after year. Her clients have become a second circle of friends. In her spare time, Nancy loves being a grandmother to her five grandchildren as well as traveling with her husband. She also enjoys gardening, scrap booking, and is renowned around the office for her baking.
Ron is a graduate from SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville. Upon graduation, he worked for Dodge Graphics for 21 years before beginning his career at Brodock in 1994. He has extensive experience as a customer service manager, assisting in production, and scheduling. Ron enjoys working with the craftsman in each department at Brodock, who know how to produce a job of hig quality. In his free time, Ron likes reading, baking, volunteering for his daughter’s activities, and teaching religion.
After receiving his Associates degree in Advertising Design and Production from MVCC in 1990, Garrett gained further knowledge of the printing industry through his 25 years of experience in analog and digital pre-press techniques as well as working as a freelance designer and illustrator. His favorite things about working at Brodock are the stellar reputation as a high-end quality printer, the company’s commitment to the community, and his generous co-workers that are both nice to work for and with. When he is not at Brodock, Garrett is the part-owner of Tramontane Café where he books live music, runs the sound, and M.C.’s for open mic night. He is also a voice character actor and puppeteer with The Guild of Thespian Puppets and enjoys cross-country skiing, bicycling, canoeing, and hiking.
Jo has been with Brodock for over 30 Years. Originally hired as a Receptionist she was transitioned into Assistant Production Manager. Jo Worked her way up to Production Scheduler learning every aspect of production. Through this on the job training she developed expertise in scheduling, and has become instrumental in the day to day operations. One of Jo’s favorite memories of her time with Brodock, was “Ladies Weekend” at the company’s retreat on Tamarack Lake.
Laurie is a Utica College graduate with over 20 years of experience in Business Administration and Accounting. Laurie's smiling face is the one that greets you at the door. Her favorite things about working at Brodock are the people, the flexibility the job offers her, as well as the company pride. Laurie enjoys family time with her husband and three sons Kevin, Sean, and Brian. Her hobbies include gardening in her hometown of Whitesboro, NY.
